Hello, my name is Charlie, and welcome to my blog.

You'll find a smattering of everything here, with concentrations on Marvel, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, LOTR, and whatever shows I am currently watching.

Oh god, Sideshow just put up a Black Widow figure for pre-order.

NO Sideshow this ISN’T FAIR. I HAVE TO PAY MY TUITION.

Dear RDJ (Robert Downey Jr. for the newbies),
I had the recent pleasure of meeting you a little over a week ago. Since then, I have enjoyed your newest film Iron Man 2. One of the many things I love about living in NYC is being able to bump into talented individuals such as yourself. You came to my work to hang out with kids who have cancer and I figured you would be in, get your pics, and out in 15 minutes.
Surprisingly, you stayed for over an hour and made sure each kid got a pic, signature, and personal interaction with the real Iron Man. One kid exclaimed, “He’s (Iron Man) real.” I must admit I reflect the same sentiment, you’re real, a real grounded and engaging person.
The staff wouldn’t admit it, but we were hanging around hoping we might get a chance to chat with you as well. Your handler lady said, “Let’s get one group staff picture.” You weren’t having that. You said in your most authoritative Tony Stark voice, “Now let me tell you how this is going to go. I want an individual picture with each and every one of you. Let’s start a line and I’m going to begin with you (me!).” You asked me my name and I managed to say it and you said, “It’s nice to meet you, Katie.” The professional photographer snapped a picture of us and I said “Can I get a copy of that?” You said, “Make sure she gets a copy of that and bill it to Paramount.”

— from Katie, who met RDJ in May 2010 when he visited the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders in NYC (her open letter to RDJ; via Crushable)

Robert Downey Junior, you are an amazing human being. You are awesome and you have earned so much of my respect. I love you man.

Jeff Jensen asks Whedon about how “We’re still flying” has become a big mantra for the fan community, asks him again what the fans mean to him. Whedon’s struggling here. He’s overcome, and the fans call out, “We love you, Joss!” Fillion is crying for real, has very red eyes, and now there’s a standing ovation, again, and Glau is crying, and now the actors are all giving Whedon a standing ovation as well. Maher and Glau hug, Baldwin pats his heart to show how touched he is. Whedon: “Only an idiot would actually try to follow that with a sentence. When you come out of a great movie, you feel like you’re in that world. You come out of ‘Brazil,’ and suddenly everything is duct piping and everything’s weird and too much. You come out of certain things, and the world has become that. when you’re telling a story, you’re trying to connect to people in a particular way… The way in which you guys have inhabited this world, this universe, have made you part of it, part of the story. You are living in ‘Firefly.’ When I see you guys, I don’t think the show is off the air. I don’t think there’s a show. I think, that’s what the world is like. I think there are spaceships, there are horses, and our story is alive.” - The last moments of the Firefly panel at SDCC 2012 (x)

Old man Dean! And his young man :3
I have a huge soft spot for older Dean/always-young-angel Castiel. There has to be a little bitterness in my curtain stuff. I like the sadness of it, but I also love the idea of Castiel loving Dean no matter how he changes over the years.
I also firmly believe he would be there when Dean dies, and leaves for heaven mere moments after him. lalala you can’t tell me different

#I actually really adore this #Because you know Cas would use bits of his angel mojo to heal Dean’s stiff joints #And Dean would scowl at him and tell him not to baby him #But Cas would do it on the sly #And he never complains about the music in the Impala being played ever louder #He still lies next to Dean in bed at night and traces the outline of his face and the symbols on his ribs #Part of Dean settles with it all #Though he never quite gets over people thinking of Cas as his son #And whenever he does get insecure about being old and his body and his mind not being what they used to be #Cas just smiles and says he doesn’t care #Because he’s always loved Dean’s soul before either of the others #Castiel knows for most of the week before Dean dies that it’s going to happen #And he makes sure to only look sad when Dean can’t see him #So he hands him his coffee over his shoulder #And kisses him #Because by the time he’s come back from hanging out the laundry #Dean will have gone to sleep and won’t wake up #But he smiles because it doesn’t matter #And as Dean takes his first step into Heaven #30 years old again #An angel takes his hand (via inkorstardust)
